The company’s soul can be found in its name, Manifattura Cotto Tuscania, and the name emphasizes the origin of production that was already mainly based on manufacturing in the 1960s.
Experience was gained over time with the typical sensibility of a person who works natural products.
During time, and after following virtuous paths, this sensibility became a way of thinking and operating.
Today, the processes of industrialization, computerization and a management attentive to the changes and the evolution of taste and style has changed "Cotto Tuscania", as it is affectionately known on the market, into a leading company that is independent and free to make ambitious and successful choices.
In this regard, 2007 was a year of important changes and investments with the replacement of the production lines and the acquisition of the most recent technologies that were needed to face the market with new instruments and new products. Parallel to this are the laboratory activities that are constantly carried out by the company’s research centre to experiment new technical solutions and to obtain colours, surfaces and finishes that reproduce natural elements such as wood, metals, fabrics and obviously, terracotta.
In 2009, the company obtained certification from the U.S. Green Building Council for its products.
